The Grand Trianon & King's Garden is a must-see when visiting Versailles in France. Intended as a retreat from the main palace of Versailles, the Grand Trianon was built in the late 17th century as a pleasure palace. The garden follows its example as a sumptuous area of delight. Softly undulating hills, brooks, and various kitchen and flower gardens in a variety of designs make up this outstanding 100 hectare area. Touring the site, you'll encounter numerous sculptures, fountains, and grottoes, all set in one of the most beautiful gardens in France.
