It is one of the tallest waterfalls in Europe, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Switzerland. The falls can be viewed from several vantage points and offer spectacular views down into Lauterbrunnen Valley. The best-known spot to view the Staubbach Waterfall is from the village of Trümmelbach, known as the “Gates of Paradise”. On the way to Trümmelbach, visitors can enjoy views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, dotted with picturesque villages, rolling hills, and the mountain peaks of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. There is also a bear park with bears rescued from circuses and hunting parks.
