Rangeen Mahal
📍 Frá Entrance, India
Rangeen Mahal, or the 'Palace of Colors', is a beautiful gem in the small town of Bidar in Karnataka, India. Built in 1430 during the Bahamani dynasty, it was constructed to embody the grandeur and beauty of traditional Persian style architecture. It overlooks the city of Bidar, and is known for its intricately designed inner walls and the lavish fresco paintings that adorn them. This palace is a great example of Indo-Sarascenic architecture, and it exudes an air of magnificence from the many intricate stone carvings on the walls outside. There is also a mosque, the Mithi Masjid, just outside the palace that is also worth a visit. This palace is a great way to experience the culture and history of the region, and a visit is highly recommended.
