The mural, measuring over 6 stories high, covers the façade of a multi-family building located in the city's Tres Olivos neighbourhood. It was created in early 2017 to celebrate the 500-year anniversary of Carlos V’s inauguration as Spanish king. It consists of 1,288 vibrant tiles in vibrant blues, reds, and greens that form symbols of the reigning House of Habsburg. Each symbol passed down through generations to preserve the history and culture of Madrid is represented in the artwork.
