Lady Buddha

Lady Buddha in Sơn Trà, Vietnam is a tall, white statue of a female bodhisattva. Standing at a height of 23 meters, it is the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam and overlooks the ocean from its location atop the lushly vegetated limestone Nui Chua mountain range. The statue is lit up from within at night and can be seen from miles away. Located just a few kilometers away from Da Nang, the statue is best accessed by motorbike but buses are also available. Locals and visitors alike flock to the statue for Buddhist rituals and festivals, often with fireworks adding to the spectacle. The paths around Lady Buddha offer a peaceful escape and stunning views of the coastline. Legends say she protects seafarers from danger at sea and brings luck and prosperity to those who visit.
