Kapikaya Canyon, formerly known as "Kalecik Canyon", is located in Karaisalı, Turkey. It is a beautiful canyon made of honeycomb limestone. Its sheer cliffs and rock formations make it a very attractive spot for hikers, explorers as well as photographers. The canyon is generously endowed with oak, pine and other trees, bubbling streams and springs, and offers a wealth of flora and fauna. Visitors can enjoy an easy hike at the canyon, which consists of various levels, in order to take in the surrounding sights and sounds. There is a wonderful waterfall while exploring the trails. The canyon is the perfect place for a peaceful and rewarding experience.
