Jumièges Abbey

Jumièges Abbey, in the small village of the same name in Seine-Maritime, is one of the most impressive and iconic examples of Romanesque architecture in Normandy. Founded in the 644AD, the abbey became an important site of religious power within the region, and was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991.
