Griffith Observatory is a must-visit attraction located on Mt. Hollywood just outside Los Angeles, California. The Observatory offers amazing views of downtown LA as well as distant landmarks such as the San Gabriel Mountains to the north and Catalina Island to the southwest. The observatory also serves as a renowned cultural center, hosting scientific and astronomy-related discussions, art exhibits and more.
