The Donostiak port in San Sebastián is one of the major attractions in the city. It has a three-kilometer-long promenade that is popular amongst locals and visitors alike. In addition, this port has a famous fish market with vendors selling some of the most exclusive seafood in Spain and the European continent. The port is also home to some interesting buildings, including the Miramar Palace, a stunning Neo-Renaissance style palace built in 1893 for King Alfonso XIII. Other attractions in this area of the city include the Maria Cristina Bridge, Calatrava Footbridge, and the Aquarium. Other popular activities include fishing, kayaking, standup paddleboarding, and biking. It is one of the most picturesque places in San Sebastián for visitors to experience.
