The Alte Brücke in Heidelberg, Germany, is a bridge spanning the Neckar River at the city's Old Town. This bridge is known for its picturesque view of the Heidelberg castle perched atop the hillside. There are several fantastic spots along the bridge for people to take in the stunning panoramic sights and grab some fantastic photos. At the eastern end of the bridge, the Philosophers' Walk to the Old University of Heidelberg awaits. On the west side of the bridge is the riverside marker of the Alte Brücke, a visual path guide, and scenic views to the castle from various angles.
