The Gherkin and Tower Bridge located in Greater London, United Kingdom is a combination of two UK icons that should not be missed. The Gherkin (also known as 30 St Mary Axe) is a 180m tall skyscraper with unique curvature and distinctive shape that makes it very well recognizable. Tower Bridge, built in 1894, is a bascule bridge with two towers and remains a symbol of London. You can get outstanding views of both landmarks from the Leadenhall Building observation deck. Alternatively, you can cross the walkways of the two bridges, enjoy the views from the street or the nearby parks. The Gherkin itself is a private building, so there is no access inside, however, it is always a great experience to arrive there.
