
Sheremetev Hospital, located in Moscow, Russia, is an important historical landmark in Russia and one of the most recognizable buildings in the city. Built in 1790, the hospital was designed and built by Russian architect Matvey Kazakov. It is a baroque-style building with an imposing façade and a large terrace. Inside the hospital, visitors will find a large hall, multiple chapels, and more than 20 rooms for medical functions. The most impressive rooms are located in the central part of the hospital and feature gorgeous domes and paintings. The most significant feature of the hospital is the large terrace overlooking the city. The terrace is open to visitors and offers great views of the Kremlin and Red Square. You can also visit the hospital’s Museum of Medicine, which has historical artifacts and various medical documents reflecting a great deal of Russian medical history.
