The Sándor Károlyi de Nagykároly Statue (also called the King of Nagykaroly Statue) is located at Mészáros Square, near the Danube river in Budapest, Hungary. It was created by the sculptor György Móna and was unveiled on 3 October 1928. The statue depicts the coat-of-arms of the powerful Hungarian aristocrat Sándor Károlyi de Nagykároly, who is considered one of the most influential politicians of Hungary. The bronze sculpture stands on a 4-meter-high granite column and is 4 meters tall. It is designed in a traditional classical style and is adorned with several garlands and oak leaves. The statue is both an impressive piece of public art and an important reminder of Hungary's past.
