
San Antonio de Padua Church, in Aranjuez, Spain is the biggest parish church in the city. It was built between 1637 and 1707 and is a fine example of Spanish baroque architecture. The church's main facade is made of white stone, with a large portico topped by a volut exhibiting armorial elements. The main door is framed by a rich sculpted decoration. Inside, the church is divided into three naves, with a great variety of paintings, gilded altars, and beautiful sculptures. It boasts one of the most beautiful towers in the area. South of the church, visitors can explore the cloister which contains beautiful stone benches, a good place for rest or contemplation. The church is easily accessible from the center of Aranjuez.
