Notre Dame de la Mer is a popular pilgrimage destination for Catholics located in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, France. The church was built in the 13th century in honour of Mary Magdalene and her two companions, Mary Salome and Mary Jacobe. The church is located near the sea, making it a scenic and tranquil place to visit. Inside the church, visitors will also be able to see a shrine to Mary Magdalene. It is surrounded by a high wall and contains a beautiful garden. The views of the ocean are breathtaking, making Notre Dame de la Mer a great place for a peaceful walk or to simply relax and take in the views.
