New Lindauer Lighthouse

New Lindauer Lighthouse, located at the city of Lindau in Bodensee, Germany, is a beautiful structure housing the port’s sign of navigation. The lighthouse, founded in 1936, stands 51 meters tall and is a great spot to appreciate the views of Lindau Island and the mainland. It has one of the last two traditional lighthouse keepers still working, a role that has been served since 1976. The lighthouse is open to the public at all times and occasionally hosts exhibitions and cultural events. Moreover, the Lighthouse Room offers stunning views of the old city, the harbor and the Bavarian Alps. A wooden stairway goes up all the way to the top of the lighthouse, from where you can enjoy some of the most fantastic seascapes of the region.
