The Neo-Renaissance-style Neues Rathaus in Hannover is a must-visit for anyone interested in architecture. Located in the city centre, this majestic city hall was built from 1913 to 1915 and its towers reach over 77 metres. Inside you will find a grand ceremonial staircase, a statue of emperor Wilhelm II, and beautiful stained glass windows from the Art Nouveau period. Guided tours are available, where you can explore the inside of this fascinating building. The exterior is well worth a look, too - on the front of the building you can find a frieze made of stone, depicting Hannover's heroes and legends.
