The Needles Chairlift is the last of its type in the UK, offering an incredible bird's eye view of the naturally beautiful landscapes of the Isle of Wight. Standing at 55 meters (114 ft) tall, you can enjoy a 4 minute ride from the Needles Old Battery to the look-out point of Alum Bay. The rustic and gregarious old-school chairlift is one of the most photographed attractions of the island. It's a truly stunning spot to witness a breathtaking sunset or admire the minerals of the coast up close. The newly-built viewing terraces also provide a great place to take a break, take in the views and marvel at everything this unique location has to offer.
