Mt Tallac, located in South Lake Tahoe, is a popular hiking and nature-spot in the United States. At an elevation of 9,735 ft, it offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountain range. A significant number of trails for hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing are available, as is the Tallac Historic Site with the remains of an old summer resort portraying the early 1900s.
