Manhattan Bridge

The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Dumbo, Brooklyn, New York City. It spans the East River and connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The bridge, designed by German engineer Othmar H. Ammann, opened in 1909 and carries sixty thousand vehicles daily. The two main towers of the bridge reach a height of 276 feet and its two vehicular decks accommodate six lanes of traffic. It is also one of the few bridges in the city that carries a pair of subway track lines in its center. The bridge’s views over NYC and its skyline are truly mesmerizing and makes it a perfect place for photographers to capture the beauty of the cityscape. It is one of the most visited bridges in NYC and has photo spots all over it - especially during the night time. The nearby Brooklyn Bridge is also the perfect place to capture some amazing morning shots.
