Hanalei Valley is a stunningly scenic valley located on Kauai's north shore in the town of Princeville. There are many great activities available in the area, from kayak tours of the famous Hanalei River, to hikes up to the breathtaking Hanalei summit. There are also beautiful waterfalls, some of which are easily accessible by foot from the road. The scenery is truly spectacular with lush tropical forests, steep cliffs and mountains, and of course the crystal blue Hanalei river. From the lookout point, one can also get views of Hanalei Bay and the famous Bali Hai Mountain. It's truly a place of wonder and beauty that has been used as the backdrop for many movies and TV shows. Hanalei Valley is a great place to explore and appreciate the beauty of the island.
