HafenCity Universität

HafenCity Universität (HCU) is an urban university in Hamburg, Germany that focuses on interdisciplinary research and teaching of architecture and urbanism, computer science, and general policy studies. Situated along the Elbe River in the city's port area, the campus was designed by architects ACMP, Christoph Mäckler, and Studio Andreas Heller. It features futuristic elements, such as glass and steel buildings and sci-fi-like walkways. The university offers students a wide range of courses and research-oriented programmes from all of its disciplines.
