Deutsches Eck is a promontory located in Koblenz, Germany, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. It is a popular tourist attraction and features a monument dedicated to the first German emperor, Wilhelm I. The monument stands on a small island connected to Deutsches Eck by a bridge. From this spot you can take in stellar views up and down the Rhine and Moselle valleys and the surrounding area. You can access Deutsches Eck by taking the cable car to the fortress and castle on the hill. There’s also a well-maintained stairway up to the monument, which provides plenty of photo opportunities. And don’t forget the nearby old town area for exploration!
