Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

Situated in the heart of Florence, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (also known as the Duomo of Florence) is the iconic symbol of Florence and the most famous of all Renaissance churches. Completed in 1436, the cathedral sits atop the city's Baptistery and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its architectural excellence.
