Catedral de Puebla

Catedral de Puebla, also known as Basílica Menor de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, is an impressive 18th century architecture in a Baroque style, located in the heart of Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza. The cathedral was built to replace the former pre-Hispanic sacred sites that were formerly located there. The Cathedral consists of three naves, six side chapels and a chapel of Our Lady of Ocotlan, and one of its biggest attractions is its impressive dome. The beauty of its stained glass windows, as well as the use of stone in its walls, are also worth appreciating. Inside, there are also many beautiful sculptures and paintings.
