Cape Byron Lighthouse is located at the tip of the stunning Cape Byron headland of Byron Bay, Australia. It is the most Easterly point in Australia, overlooking the surf of Wategos Beach and Tallow Beach. It can be easily accessed by car or an easy walking track. From the viewing platform, you can marvel at the spectacular views of the surrounding coastline, especially when the sun is setting in the evenings. At the base of the headland is a grassy picnic area where visitors can have some lunch and take memorable photos of the lighthouse. You should also visit the nearby Captain Cook Memorial and watch or even see dolphins or whales while they are migrating along the coast.
