Barrage de grangent

Located in Chambles, France, Barrage de grangent is a dam built in the Loire Valley between 1937 and 1945. The barrage first served agricultural and industrial purposes and today, the lake that is created by the dam is used for sports and recreation activities, as well as a nature reserve. The structure, with its elegant arc, is over 300 meters long and 50 meters high. It is a popular spot to view the Loire Valley.
