Statue of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk

The Statue of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk is a monument located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia honoring the former King of Cambodia. The statue stands 24 metres tall with an 11-metre pedestal, making it the tallest statue in the city. The statue sits atop a ridge in Vat Langka park, offering excellent views of the city. It can be reached via a flight of stairs which are flanked by two picturesque ponds. There is also a platform surrounding the statue where visitors can get a 360-degree view of the entire city. The platforms are illuminated at night, providing a picturesque vista of the entire city. The statue was designed by renowned Cambodian artist Doung Sun that combines contemporary and traditional Khmer elements.
