Pueblo abandonado de Rebollosa de los Escuderos

Pueblo abandonado de Rebollosa de los Escuderos is an abandoned village in Retortillo de Soria, Spain. It was founded in 1814 and it has been abandoned since the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s. The village is a typical example of rural architecture, with its stone walls, its stone chimneys, and its tile roofs. It stands silently over the plain of Retortillo, surrounded by colorful fields of wheat and sunflowers. Its was once home to around 60 people, but now the cobbled streets are empty. There are still some ruins remaining, like the walls of the 16th century chapel, and the remains of some houses. The village is a great place to explore, imagine and take in the scenery.
