Lalbagh Fort

Lalbagh Fort is a 17th-century Mughal fort, known for its exquisite architectural design and historical significance. Situated in the heart of Dhaka, Bangladesh, this fort was originally built as a residence for Prince Azam, the son of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. However, due to unforeseen events, the fort was left unfinished and only about a third of the original plan was completed. Today, the fort serves as a popular tourist attraction, boasting a beautiful mosque, mausoleum, and gardens. The entrance fee is minimal and includes a guided tour by local volunteers.
