Dingmans Falls

Dingmans Falls, one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Delaware Township, is located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. The 130-foot high falls offer a truly breathtaking sight, with the crystal clear Dingman Creek thundering down the slate rock cliffs. It is a two-tier waterfall, with an upper falls of 10 feet and a lower one of 80 feet. Visitors can take a 420-foot footpath down to the waterfall with benches and sitting areas around the pool and enjoy a spectacular view from the bottom. A wooden walkway leading to the top of the falls is also accessible. Dingmans Falls is a well-loved hiking destination as an easy 2.4-mile roundtrip hike with a modest elevation gain of 120 feet. There are many other hiking and biking trails in the area, providing plenty of outdoor and recreational opportunities.
