Yingge District

Yingge District is a great spot to explore when in Taipei, Taiwan. This historical town retains its traditional culture with its red-brick houses and cobblestoned streets. It is renowned for its ceramics culture, showcased at the Ceramics Museum which has over 20,000 pieces of ceramics. Tourists can explore the many ceramic stores, workshops and factories in this area. Another highlight of the district is the Sanyinger Bridge, also called Yingge Old Street, is located in the center of the district. The bridge dates back to Japanese colonial period and is now a popular spot for tourists. It features Chinese-style architectures, temples and plenty of shops selling souvenirs and food. Take a stroll and explore the unique atmosphere; take photos of the old houses and temples. There's plenty to see and enjoy in Yingge.
