It was designed by the Madrid-based architect Santiago Calatrava and is the tallest building in Scandinavia, reaching a height of 190 meters. Upon entering the lobby the visitor is immediately taken by the views of the city and sea, as well as the two-story rotunda on the inside. There are five floors open to the public that include an observation deck with a 360-degree view of the area, an art gallery, a cafe, and a lounge overlooking the Oresund Strait. Turning Torso also features a hair-raising pool on the bottom two floors while the top 15 floors of the tower contain condominiums.
