Built in a Neoclassical and Renaissance style, it was completed in 1889 and, at the time, was the city’s largest religious complex. This striking building is made up of two towers which are the same height, with cupolas and balconies in the interior, decorated with murals. The façade is adorned with granite and reliefs made of Carrara marble, and a neoclassical portico made of three arches. Its interior is full of detail, especially in the walls, columns and cupolas, where beautiful works of art can be found. Amongst the artworks, visitors can find an 18 meter tall stained glass window, as well as a floor hueco with tribute to wars against France and the United States.
