Sydney Opera & Habour Bridge

Sydney Opera and Harbour Bridge, commonly known as the Coathanger, is one of the most iconic symbols of Australia. It is a steel arch bridge spanning Sydney Harbour, spanning a distance of 545 meters (1,800 ft.). On the eastern side, the bridge connects the Sydney CBD to the inner-city suburb of Milsons Point. On the western side, it crosses over to the north shore suburb of Dawes Point. Built in the 1930s, it offers spectacular views of the Sydney skyline and Harbour. Visitors should take the walking tour on the eastern side of the bridge to experience the beauty of the structure from closer quarters.
