St Michael's Mount

St Michael's Mount is a small island located in Mount's Bay off the coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom. The island is known for its castle that dates back to 1260, and its harbor-side church. Today, the island is open to the public. Visitors can trek across a causeway between the island and the mainland at low tide, or take a boat between the island and the nearby village of Marazion. Many visitors take the time to walk around the island and enjoy various terrains, from rugged cliff sides to picturesque beaches. This island is also home to an abundance of wildlife as well as a garden, café and nature trails. With so much to explore, it is no surprise that St Michael's Mount is one of the most popular tourist and photography spots in Cornwall.
