Porto di Portovenere

Porto di Portovenere is a small fishing village located in the province of La Spezia, Italy. It's situated on a peninsula, between the town of La Spezia and the island of Palmaria. It offers visitors stunning views of the UNESCO-protected Gulf of Poets, with its rugged cliffs and colorful fishing boats, along with a number of restaurants, cafés, and shops. Visitors can take a boat tour to explore the caves and grottoes of the golf, as well as visit some of the many churches in the area. There's also a delightful sandy beach ideal for swimming and soaking up the sun. The beach is accessible either by guided boat tours, or by taking a bus from La Spezia to Portovenere. The eye-catching, circular Church of San Pietro is also worth a visit, with its pastel yellow façade – which can be seen from miles around.
