Marshall Point Lighthouse

Marshall Point Lighthouse, located in St. George, Maine is an historic lighthouse and the center of a local landmark. The lighthouse was the setting of Forrest Gump's famous picture moment, which this destination is often known for. The path to the top of the lighthouse is along a granite causeway, walkway, and stone wall. The grounds at Marshall Point Lighthouse are open for exploration and the views are perfect for photography. During the summer months, you will find fishermen out early in the morning and often seen around the breakers of the St. George Harbor.
