Manhattan and American Veterans Memorial Pier is a public pier on the East River in Brooklyn, New York, United States. It is easily accessible both by subway and car. The pier affords visitors great views of lower Manhattan and the bridges leading to it. There’s an observatory at the end of the pier with plenty of friendly seagulls perched on it. It also features rows of benches where visitors can sit and enjoy the views. It’s a great spot for photography, offering picturesque views of the iconic Manhattan skyline, the East River, and other attractions like the Statue of Liberty. It is a popular spot for fishing, too, with striped bass, bluefish, and others being caught.
