Ine Bay

Ine Bay and Funaya are a must-see in the charming fishing village of Ine, Japan. The area is home to Japan's traditional boat architecture, called "funaya," which line the bay with an incredible view of the ocean. Take a boat ride through the numerous canals for the best view of the unique funaya houses. These canal houses appear to float on the water and make for interesting viewing. Make sure to visit the Ine no Funaya Folk Museum which is dedicated to the culture of the village. Stroll along the waterfront and take in the sights of the beautiful Pacific Ocean too.
