The DuSable Bridge spans the Chicago River, connecting downtown Chicago's Michigan Avenue to the north side of the city. Today, the DuSable Bridge is a notable tourist attraction, offering beautiful views over the city no matter the time of day. As a nod to its namesake, Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable, the city's first non-indigenous settler and founder of Chicago, there is a park on the north side named after him.
