De Neckermolen is an iconic, octagonal-shaped windmill located in Wijdewormer, Netherlands. It was built around 1750 and is now a protected national monument. The mill is open to visitors and has a café and a small shop. The mill is surrounded by stunning fields, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers to wander and explore. There’s a small pond next to the mill, where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. The popular cycle route, Knooppunt 8, passes right through the windmill, so you can hop off your bike and take a break. The historic mill is a great spot to take a few photos and admire the Dutch countryside.
