Cracker Lake

Cracker Lake is a beautiful glacial lake located in the sprawling Glacier National Park, Swiftcurrent, in the United States. Surrounded by towering peaks, lush meadows and emerald forests, the lake is the perfect place to spend a day walking, swimming or fishing. A wide variety of wildlife can be found around the lake, so keep your eyes open for sightings of elk, deer, and the occasional bear! Access to the lake is via the popular 'Cracker Lake Trail' which is an easy four mile loop. For a longer hike, you can combine the Cracker Lake Trail with a trek to the Grinnell Glacier Overlook. The views of the lake, wildflower studded meadows and surrounding mountains are nothing short of incredible. Don't forget to bring a packed lunch as there are plenty of picnic spots.
