Church of St. Ludmila

The iconic Church of St. Ludmila is one of the most photographed places in Prague. This baroque church dominates the area, with its distinctive pink facade and curved two-towered front. The original church was built between 1711 and 1732, and it was rebuilt after the fire of 1865. Inside, the dramatic double vault ceilings contain some highly decorated artwork and sculptures. The crypt of Saint Ludmila is directly under the main altar. Its open to the public, making a great stop for tourists who want to explore the church's history.
