Cerro Piltriquitron is a geological formation and a geosite, located in the municipality of El Bolsón, in the province of Río Negro, Argentina. It is also a tourism and cultural geosite, with a range of views that offer a landscape mosaic comprising mountain ridges, valleys, meadows, forests and lakes. The mountain has a height of approximately 840m and there is no official route. The mountain can be accessed from an old country road and the ascend is gradual and firm. There are several viewpoints that offer the best panoramic views of the whole valley and countryside. There are several activities available to visitors such as hiking, horse riding, bird watching and 4WD excursions. For a more culturally rich experience, there are several ranches (Estancia El Bolsón and Estancia Don Gregorio) at the base of the mountain where you can observe the daily activities of a traditional Argentine ranch.
