The San Remo

The San Remo is a luxurious neighborhood in New York City located on the Upper West Side. The area is known for beautiful pre-war buildings along tree-lined streets that create a quaint, picturesque atmosphere. It was once home to artistic and literary icons such as Leonard Bernstein, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, and Bob Dylan. The neighborhood is full of fantastic places to explore, including Central Park, Riverside Park and West End Avenue, the iconic Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the American Museum of Natural History, the Beacon Theater, and Lincoln Center. There are a plethora of excellent shopping, dining and entertainment options, as well as great educational opportunities, especially at nearby Columbia University. To reach the neighborhood, take the 1/2/3 subway to 116th Street/ Columbia University station.
