Sheep Island

Sheep Island is a small uninhabited island in the North of Ireland in the Causeway Coast and Glens district. Located athwart the sheltered waters of the North Channel, the island offers spectacular views of the mainland making it a eye-catching spot to be explored. The clear waters of the North Channel offer great opportunities for kayaking and canoeing, as well as swimming if you're brave enough. Getting on the rocky shore of the island offers the chance to experience some of the rarer marine species that inhabit the area. Its abundance of seabirds and wading birds make it a paradise for nature lovers. Amenity-wise, Sheep Island is hard to beat with its beaches and the grassy meadows bordering them.
