The Medina River is located in the heart of Castroville, Texas and is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The river is formed by the confluence of three smaller rivers, the Sabinal, Frio, and the Nueces, and is about 30 miles long. It is known for its beautiful, lush vegetation along its banks, including live oak, sycamore, and willow trees.
