Hohes Schloss Füssen

Hohes Schloss Füssen, also known as Füssen Castle, is a Gothic-style castle built in the late 13th century. It is located above the old part of Füssen, a town in the south of Germany. Built on a hilltop, with its towers and columns, the castle is a landmark of the town. It was once home to one of the most powerful families in Bavaria, the Hohenstaufen Dynasty, who left their mark in the form of the original Renaissance door that still today stands at the inner courtyard of the castle.
