Transamerica Pyramid

The Transamerica Pyramid and the streets of Nob Hill are iconic landmarks of San Francisco, United States. The Transamerica Pyramid is the world’s tallest pyramid, standing at 853 ft. It stands at the heart of the Financial District and is a distinctive sight in the cityscape. Nob Hill is a district at the northern tip of San Francisco, filled with posh Victorian-style mansions and cobblestone streets. The hill was named after four wealthy businessmen called the ‘four nobby ones’, who built luxurious Victorian mansions on the hill. It is one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods, a grandiose district of expensive homes. The corner of Powell and California Street remains the main street corner of Nob Hill and this is an ideal spot from where to admire the façades of the mansions and landmarks.
